Had an emergency and they got me in the next morning for the repair. Tim was kind enough to take all my calls which I appreciated. I would have liked more frequent updates from them like I had requested since I needed to drive my truck to an important event. But in the end, they did a good job in helping me resolve the issue.

We've given this location ample opportunities and have been left disappointed too many times. I'm embarrassed by how many times we've given this shop a chance solely because of its convenient location. One time, they left my oil cap off and oil sprayed on my windshield as I drove home. Another time I brought my car in because there was a nail in my tire. They assured me there wasn't one and that the tire wasn't losing pressure. I showed them the picture I had taken of the nail, they took another look and found the nail and I thought made it right by patching it for free. They didn't replace my stem cap and when I came back for that I was met by an attitude from the tech. Most recently, they charged $130 for an oil change on a Hyundai car and it took two hours, with an appointment. We could've taken the car to the dealership for a cheaper, and probably quicker, oil change than that!

I do not recommend this Pep Boys location. We initially brought our truck in on Memorial Day for a noise that occurred during startup. The recommended repair was a belt and tensioner replacement. After paying for the repair, the noise was still present, and we were instructed to bring the truck back for further diagnostics. From that point forward, we received multiple different explanations regarding the issue. We were told it could be related to the radiator cap and coolant system, then later told it was a power steering issue. When we arrived to pick up the truck after being told it was ready, it would not even start. One of the most frustrating parts of this experience was the lack of communication and conflicting information. When I requested copies of the diagnostic reports, the employee at the front desk repeatedly talked over me and insisted there were no reports other than the one from the first day, despite the fact that multiple diagnostics had supposedly been performed. He even stated that the report from that day had been deleted. He also told us that no work had been performed on the truck during its most recent visit and that they had only driven it and parked it.

My daughter recently brought her vehicle to your shop after purchasing it because antifreeze appeared to be leaking from somewhere. After your inspection, she was told the radiator and hoses needed to be replaced. She paid approximately $1,800 to have this work completed. Shortly after the repair, she had to return because the antifreeze had again disappeared. She was told that the cause of the antifreeze loss was unknown but that the vehicle was safe to drive. Only a few hours later, my daughter called me while stranded in the middle of the road because the vehicle had overheated. She shut the vehicle off and allowed it to cool in an attempt to move it out of the roadway. When she attempted to restart it, the vehicle would not start. Additionally, the vehicle could not be shifted out of park because the battery was dead. After we were able to move the vehicle to a safe location and inspect it, we discovered that the positive battery terminal connection was missing the nut that secures the cable. The vehicle was also low on antifreeze again. The vehicle has now been towed back to your shop and is currently there. At this time, we are waiting to hear what the outcome will be. Up

Wish it was a better experience got my car towed there had to call a couple times to ask simple questions, they seemed to get irritated, when the car was picked up they didn’t even bother to put my hub caps back on the tires, pretty sure that’s due to them being irritated by my calls. I then had to call again after picking up the car because on there paper it doesn’t say what was wrong with the tire so I called to confirm to make sure it was a nail and not like an alignment tearing issue. He confirmed it was a nail. But when I asked about why it says I declined alignment when I didn’t even know my back tires needed one because I wasn’t ASKED I was served with nothing but a dismissal attitude go to another location this one is not up to par… They took my money though πŸ‘πŸΎ
